Multifamily developer, The Collier Companies, has announced its latest luxury development, Hawks Mill in Port Orange, Florida.
The Collier Companies plans to break ground this Fall on the 336 apartment home community, making it the developers’ second project currently in the ground. The development is the latest addition to the organizations’ venture into the I-4 corridor as they opened the doors to The Atlantic Apartments earlier this Spring, and their recent groundbreaking of BLVD2600, which is located in Maitland, Florida.
Hawks Mill will be outfitted with luxury amenities such as a saltwater pool, over 10,000 Square Feet of amenity space, a playground, and a custom dog park. Residents will also enjoy 1,900 square feet of fitness area which will include an exercise loop, CrossFit area, and the new technology of Echelon Connect, as well as experiencing some amenities that have become essential with the groups’ new communities like its Luxor Package Systems and electric vehicle charging stations.
The Collier Companies announced their “2X” Goal in 2020 which marks their journey to double in size over the next decade with plans to break ground on a number of new multifamily developments. With over 10,900 homes currently in their portfolio, BLVD2600 and Hawks Mill will take their apartment home count to almost 12,000 by 2022, with more developments in the pipeline yet to be announced.
