PORT ORANGE– The Collier Companies is another milestone closer to its 2x growth initiative to double the size of its portfolio in the next decade with the closing of a $61,125,000 construction loan provided by banker Sharis Deravakian at Truist Bank. New multi-family community, Hawks Mill, will bring over 300 luxury apartment homes to Port Orange, Florida.
Hawks Mill will join The Atlantic, The Collier Companies’ sister community in Port Orange, completed in 2021. Hawks Mill will be composed of 336 apartment homes across 35 acres including luxury amenities such as a saltwater pool and over 10,000 square feet of clubhouse, energy-star appliances, a playground, and a custom dog park. Residents will also enjoy 1,900 square feet of dedicated fitness grounds which will include an exercise loop, CrossFit area, and the new technology of Echelon Connect, as well as Luxor Package Systems and electric vehicle charging stations.
Hawks Mill will feature craftsman-style architecture with stone accents, shake shingles, and shutter details. The site has a strong tie to the surrounding environment with several conservation and tree preservation areas, reflecting The Collier Companies’ efforts to uniquely design each new community: “It is important to tailor each community to blend harmoniously within the surrounding area,” says Christine Wertz, Senior Development Manager.
The architectural design was completed by Forum Architects of Altamonte Springs, Florida, and the interior design was provided by Builders Design Group. The clubhouse delivery is scheduled for April 2023, with first building delivery scheduled for June 2023 with an April 2024 completion.
