GAINESVILLE – On Friday, September 9, 2022, 40 Team Members from The Collier Companies were cordially invited to attend Dance Alive’s Meet the Dancers event with complimentary tickets.
Clutching their champagne glasses and chic handbags, guests at this cocktail-attire event entered the Cade Museum at 6:30 pm and stepped into a world where pointe shoes, fluid movements, and motion-based storytelling take center stage.
The evening at this awe-inspiring soiree was led by hosts Donna DeConna and Craig Wilburn and included a stunning performance from the company’s brilliant dancers, a live auction, dancing, and hors d’oeuvres.
A long-time devotee of the arts and Dance Alive, The Collier Companies supports their work in enriching the community through artistic creations, youth education in appreciating dance, and cultivating a fertile performing environment where artists from all genres can grow and prosper.
In the past, The Collier Companies provided a Charitable Challenge Grant, pledging to match qualifying donations up to $25,000 annually for five years to Dance Alive National Ballet. We are proud to acknowledge that the Collier Challenge has been met, but even so, TCC continues to bolster the enrichment of the program, while ensuring that Team Members can watch the dance artists’ creative spirits from front-row seats.
