GAINESVILLE, Fla. – On September 27, 2017, The Collier Companies announced its partnership with ApexOne Investment Partners in the acquisition of Ocean Oaks Apartments in Port Orange, Florida. The Collier Companies, with ApexOne, purchased the multifamily housing complex from GoldOller Real Estate Investments.
Ocean Oaks is a conventional, multifamily housing complex built in 1988. It is comprised of 296 units in 37 residential buildings and is centrally located in scenic Port Orange, Florida, just south of Daytona. The Collier Companies’ future plans for Ocean Oaks include adding washers and dryers to all units, painting the full exterior, and varying degrees of interior upgrades.

Last month, The Collier Companies also partnered with ApexOne in the purchase of Avenue 29 Apartments in Tallahassee, Florida.
Ocean Oaks features a number of upgraded apartment amenities in select units such as custom gourmet kitchens, energy efficient black appliances, ceramic tile, spacious walk-in closets, screened balconies and patios, and washers and dryers. Community features include a residential clubhouse, fitness center, two outdoor swimming pools, lighted tennis and basketball courts, playground, and a business center. Kaylan Cash, now a Collier Companies Team Member, will continue on as Ocean Oaks’ Community Manager.
